Guide to change Stock and Pricing
Maintaining current Stock and Pricing is really necessary for order processing and customer satisfaction. This guide is to help you to maintain update the product stock and pricing.
How to change the Product Stock?
Follow the steps mentioned below:
- Login to Earthen Store Partner Portal
- Click on Catalog at the top blue bar. You can see all the products listed by you at Earthen Store
- Next locate/find the product that you wish to update the Stock
- Now click on the Edit button of that product. You will find that button at the extreme right and below action tab
- You will be on the product details page and there you will find Quantity (marked in blue) in Data tab
- Update desired number at quantity
- Click Save at top right corner
- After saving you can find updated stock of that very product in Catalog page
How to change the Product Pricing?
Follow the steps mentioned below:
- Click on the Edit button of that product you want to change price. Follow the same steps mentioned above to enter your product inventory
- Now add Price (excluding GST) in Price under Data tab
- Click Save at top right corner
- After saving you can find updated MRP and Price (Ex. GST) of that very product in Catalog page under Pricing tab
Please keep in mind: Do not enter your Product MRP in the Price field when you enter product price; that must be excluding GST. Because every product is assigned with a tax class based on HSN, and tax is calculated on run time based on Tax class and shipping address.
To ensure correct pricing, you must enter 4 decimal point of product pricing. For example, if MRP of a product is Rs. 100.00 and GST is 18% then Product price should be Rs 84.7457 not Rs 84.74. If you enter Rs 84.74 then your product MRP to customer would be Rs 99.99 not Rs 100.00.
We would request you to reconfirm the tax class of that product you want to change pricing as wrong tax class lead to wrong MRP calculation
