    • Processing: Mangoes are harvested by our trained experienced people to ensure harvest the right time. Further they are kept in layers of rice hay for natural ripening. Proper ventilation, storage and delicate handling is required to prevent damage. Depending on logistics time to customer, mangoes are packed at different stages of ripening. We enclose each mango in a nylon sleeve to prevent damage and our boxes are 6ply top bottom export quality boxes to ensure safe transit.
    • Quality Control: Three step quality check is done, at harvest, after ripening and before final packing. Mangoes are checked for visual defects, blemishes as well as possible internal damage/spoilage. This ensures that only the best quality mangoes are dispatched.

    • Packaging: To protect the mangoes corrugated boxes are used and each mango is covered in a fruit sleeve which is a synthetic material.

    • Disclaimer: Customer complaints of spoilt/over ripened mangoes – No one is responsible. Pictures required. Aamrai takes every care while selecting and dispatching mangoes. Internal damage to fruit can occur in following instances. (1) Occasionally if raw mangoes are sent, 1/2 fruit may turn black from top due to stem rot disease. This is only visible after ripening of mangoes. In such case if spoilage exceeds 2 mangoes per dozen, AAMRAI will provide replacement with next order after pics have been provided. (2) Most of the damage and spoilage happens in transit due to improper storage and handling of the mangoes. In such cases boxes may be damaged, been exposed to sunlight or have been packed without ventilation. This results in internal damage to mangoes. Logistics vendor/Client is responsible for the same. (3) In rare instances fruit could be spoilt from inside which is not possible to detect from outside. This is called spongy tissue and is a genetic defect in the Alphonso mango. If more that 2 fruit are spoilt per dozen and pics are provided, AAMRAI will provide replacement with next order. The % of such orders are less than 1%
