Dhokra is among the oldest traditional techniques of metal casting in India from pre-historic period. The process of making Dhokra is very interesting. It is non-ferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting method. One of the earliest known examples of Dokra art is the dancing girl of Mohenjo-daro.
